Square Driver Comparison Chart
We compare the top 3 name-brand square drivers for 2008 along with the
best custom clone square driver from GigaGolf. The Callaway FT-i series
square driver has several configurations and is the most expensive. The
Nike Sumo has the highest MOI (5900 gm/cm2) and is also fairly
expensive. You can actually get a 2007 model SQ Sumo2 for under
$100 for a limited time, and the 5900 for under $150. The Adams Insight
is a first generation square driver and is moderately priced for a high-end
club. The GX Squared Ti from GigaGolf has all the performance
and feel of the higher end models, it just doesn't have the name recognition
(they save you money by not advertising or paying Tour Players huge endorsement
fees). The choice is yours -- they are all exceptional drivers, so you
can't really go wrong. It's really about how much you are willing to
pay and whether you need to have the status of a name-brand club.
